Nov 2024 – Frank Walters
One of the participants of the Frank Walters workshop wrote: “I think it was a successful day. He told me that he mostly teaches beginners, so he took us back to basics. Very informative to those new to watercolours, but also a good refresher for the more experienced.”
Oct 2024 – Tushar Sabale
The Tushar Sabale workshop was an enjoyable day. He is a good presenter and was very willing to help if you were struggling a bit with your painting. It was interesting to see what we all had done as Tushar reviewed the paintings at the end of the workshop.
April 2024 – Susan Gray
On April 21st, sixteen members took part in the seascape workshop run by Susan Gray. The subject was quite difficult with crushing waves hitting the shore but after some hesitations and false starts our members dived in and the results were superb.
Club Workshop Day February 2024
Our February club workshop day involved a supply of gouache paints, Indian ink and good quality watercolour paper. Although the results, having not tried the technique before, were variable we all left the workshop with a picture or two and a good feeling that the day had been lots of fun!
November 2023 – Catherine Beale
Our November workshop with Catherine Beale was a very exciting experience for all the sixteen attendees. It was all about learning to loosen up the way we paint in watercolours.
October 2023 – Joel Wareing
Early in October our workshop brought us the most talented artist Joel Wareing with whom we spent a most wonderful and informative day. The subject was an urban scene with figures
April 2023 – Max Hale
Our Workshop in April was with Max Hale, doing still life in oil or acrylic. Nine people attended this very successful workshop

Keith Hornblower ran our recent watercolour workshop. Keith was a very good tutor, inspiring the group to produce some really impressive paintings during the day.
